Why Your Blog Is Backbone Of Your Business?

You may continue to see news and blog entries touting the end of email now that so many people are turning to social networks and smartphones.  Experience, though, may have taught you to be sceptical of exciting, grand announcements that seem counter intuitive.  Still, stranger things have happened.  Is it time to ditch your auto responder system?  What does the research say?

Recent research, frankly, says pretty much what you would expect it to.  People are turning to social media like Twitter and Facebook in droves.  The kind of social interaction you get from these sites can’t really be matched by email—especially on a mobile.  People can check in with their friends, rapidly report what they’re up to, and more without bothering about addresses or subject lines.

How To Get More And Pay Less For Web Hosting?

Image ads - More Eye Catching Than Conventional Text Ads

Text ads are always the first choice when are looking to monetize your site. Publishers are always hesitant to display image ads on their site. 

Text ads have certain advantages over image ads that are listed below:

1. If you choose the correct font size and color for your text ads, they can easily blend with the content of your site and make your readers feel that they are part of the content and thereby generating more clicks are readers clicks on the ads to gather more information on the topic. With image ads you cannot change the color, only thing you can do is to change its position and size. Thus, it becomes difficult to make it look like a part of the content.

2. You can display more number of text ads in the space that is occupied by an image ad. More number of choices to your reader better is the chance of enticing a click on your ads.

3. The font size of the text in the image ad will never match with your content thereby making them look like a clutter and annoying the readers.

4. People love banners but rarely click on them. A more appropriate choice in this case would be to use text ad that looks like part of the content.

This does not necessarily mean that you should stop using image ads on your site. One of the best advantages of an image ad is that it will give you more per click than all the text ads combined for the size you choose. This means a very high CTR, but you should only you image ads as a filler for left over space and preferably place it very close to bottom of the page.

The mannerisms that you employ in surfing may seem questionable to the kind of traffic you desire for your site, but both go together. For the traffic you receive to be of any use to you, it is imperative that surfers follow the correct surfing etiquette. The owner of the Traffic Exchange puts down certain rules and regulations to prevent the surfers from cheating, but the manner in which you surf is totally up to you.

The debate on surfing etiquette has been going on as to what represents acceptable and what is unacceptable surfing behavior. I would offer some advice to those who use Traffic Exchanges, but these represents my point of view of looking at things and expect you to use these guidelines only to make your own decisions. I advise you to follow your heart, ask yourself whether you would be happy if others surfers use the same technique you are using while viewing your web page. If you adopt the right attitude while surfing other members pages, then you are on a right track and other members are likely to do the same.

What are the Distractions to surfing?

Do you multitask while surfing? Do you have a habit of listening to music, watching TV or playing with your mobile phone while surfing? Since surfing can be quite dull, it is very easy to begin multitasking and not pay attention to the pages you are surfing.

It is unjustified to concentrate totally on the pages you surf; you can play background music while surfing but the pages that appear should draw your maximum attention. If you cannot give some attention to the pages displayed, you are better off not surfing at all.

How much Attention should you give to each page?

When you begin surfing, it is very easy to concentrate on the pages. It becomes boring when you start seeing the same pages repeatedly it shuts your attention. One more difficulty you may face is that you see an interesting page and before you could view the complete details the timer hits becomes zero and another page comes on. It is important to show some respect to surfers who are working very hard to get you see their pages.

A technique that you can use in this case is to bookmark a particular page that you find interesting whilst you are surfing. Once you have finished surfing, you can open your bookmarks folder and look at the site at your own pace. Make sure you bookmark the site and not the traffic exchange as this is the mistake done by majority of surfers. You can right click on the page and then save it to your bookmarks folder.

How to use Tabbed Browsing?

Surfers who surf more than one traffic exchange simultaneously generally employ this technique. Possibly one of the most keenly debated topic in Traffic Exchange surfing, which has divided the surfing community into two almost equal groups.

While the supporters of this technique argue that they are still viewing the pages, use of this technique enables them to generate more traffic, and this technique is no way against the terms and conditions of Traffic Exchanges. The Opponents to this technique point out that the surfer is not viewing each page for the stipulated time duration and the surfer is only a small step away from cheating.

Personally in my opinion, tabbed browsing is not necessary to earn huge traffic and you can still get decent traffic to your site without using tabbed browsing. However if you decide to use tabbed browsing to get traffic to your site, here are a few points you need to keep in mind

1. Never surf more than 5 Traffic Exchanges simultaneously.
2. Make sure that you still give each page decent attention.
3. Never open the same Traffic Exchange on two browser windows (this is a violation of TOS).
4. Never use software bots that can surf automatically.

Avoid Cheating Traffic Exchanges

If you are caught cheating a Traffic Exchange your site will be banned for good. An easy way to avoid yourself from cheating is to ask a question "Am I required to view every single page using the technique or software?" If the answer is NO, you are cheating the Traffic Exchange.

So my suggestion to all those who intend to use traffic exchanges to increase hits to your site. Pick Traffic Exchanges that suit your style of surfing and which have a fair Hit Ratio which is very close to 1:1 or else you would be required to put in extra effort and extra time to get the amount of traffic you desire.
